Sandra is a writer and academic whose research interests are focused on feminism and social politics.

Eschewing Barbie dolls and prams, even from a young age Sandra has always had an interest in powerful historical figures, and in particular inspirational women throughout the ages.

Her book traces the development of change in the 'new century' brought about by women from diverse backgrounds.

As Sandra says, 'While the ladies were busy lunching, the women were changing the world...'
